For the people confused:
ML isn't as confusing as it seems.
While he thinks 2 guys getting together is disgusting, ML isn't bothered by closeness given he probably has never had any male friends or family close to his age that he was close whit, simply put, all his actions steam from the fact he doesn't see MC as a love interest and just a friend that understands the situation they are in, therefor his actions aren't really that weird, he is just a overly nice guy that just so happens to be homophobic.
As for the MC, he himself is creating unnecessary problems for himself.
His family seems supportive of the idea of him and ML actually marrying, so by now he should have come forward whit the fact he is Gay to his parents, and all of the misunderstandings could have been fixed or avoided if he simply told ML that he was Gay, that way he could safely let ML sleep in his bed and the ML would probably understand why they cant get so close.
Overall, its clear all the problems steam from MC being quite dumb on his choices because he wanted to see eye-candy.
