I don't get it, he drags away her to talk, but then asks the school president for a job? It almost seems like a flashback in how out of context it was, except there was nothing to identify it as one.
And mc just hung up with the worst timing. The guy was going to tell him his conditions, but he never got to. The only part we heard was him asking if he had a gf or not, meaning he either wanted to verify he hadnt so he could pimp the guy out, or verify he had one, so he could let the guy work near his own without going jelly (or however else the h-logic would force mc and heroine to pretend-date). Or maybe the question was mostly unrelated.
@Vergift No I agree with the other guy, this series really didnt need more chars. If you want an annoying char to get endearing, then you really need to make it a sappy romance. Otherwise it (or at least all other such works I have read) just gets annoying and unsatisfying and feeling like reading it is the author trying to bully you
