The mc knew about fl's feeling, but he pretend to be dunce for some reasons. Maybe to efficiently avoid any annecessary situation or to raise any flags ( though its already too late for that)

I honestly don't know who will win,
On one hand shes the title character, but on the other so far the plot has been around the fake BF status the MC has with the Childhood Friend/Cousin.

Iroha still has better odds than the cousin on the grounds that she's an actual fucking character with motivations and interests. Honestly this chapter made me a lot more interested in her as a character and made her much more interesting.

Plus his tsundere cousin isn't very strong competition given how she treats him like shit and he's basically entered this relationship at gunpoint

@Tamerlane

We all know that tsunderes have a 30% love debuff, which forces them to act agressively all the time to get noticed, but most players don't know how to use this power and end up attacking wildly, thus, their chances to win the game get lowered even further.

On the other hand, Childhood friends get a 50% bonus affection buff at the start, but in the later stages their base stats aren't enough so they must rely on piercing attacks that aren't very accurate, so many of these types of players end up missing most of their shots until they're out of energy and out of the game.

Or that's how i think it works. Anyway, i hope main girl wins.

This is turning into a case of FIRST GIRL vs FIRST GIRL AFTER ALL.

Iroha has the fact that not only is the manga named after her, she's the cover girl as well. Usually the childhood friend/first girl after all is introduced later on to create drama between the MC and the FMC. So odds are that Iroha is end girl.

The problem for Iroha is that this manga is is titled in a misleading way. It's title suggest that this is a "teasing" manga like Nogatoro, Uzaki or any of the other teasing ones out there, where the FMC is cemented in place as end girl from page one.

This manga has turned into an examination of the game industry and has a focus on the calculated and cold-hearted (for a reason) determination of the MC is most closely related to "My Youth Romantic Comedy is Wrong as I Expected" where efficiency self-reliance plus isolation of the MC will lead them to their goals at the expense of hurting the two FMCs. It used teasing to hook people in but is leaning heavily on the drama/romance/love triangle.

Determining the end girl will be difficult because this manga is a mashup of several already well-worn tropes. It's the "XX is annoying/teasing" plus "I'm in a fake relationship romance" plus "balancing/avoiding relationships with a goal" like A Little Sister's All You Need (Another misleading title manga).

But let's be clear, even though Mashiro is best girl, Iroha will be end girl.

Thank you for listening to my TED talk.

Ok, I'm glad this manga got back on track, I was so confused on what direction it was heading.
At first I thought it was about a sempai who wasn't noticing his kouhai, then they added the bit where the sensei was an otaku, then the 5th floor alliance thing (which is so strange to have sensei be a part of, but okay), then they did the cousin is now your lover angle, and I legit almost forgot about the kouhai with all that happening. Yeah I get its only 7 chapters in, but because of the period in between chapters, I felt a bit lost on the plot. Probably a few years down the line when there are more chapters, it won't seem so much of a story problem, but as of now I'm not yet satisfied with the tension between the characters yet, especially between MC and FMC. Hopefully the next few chapters will focus on their relationship rather than adding more and more plot elements.

Ah, so this is one of those stories where the author pulls character motivations and backstories out of their ass with no foreshadowing.

@monkey123 Iroha is definitely NOT in the friend zone. He noticed the MASSIVE back in chapter 1 and it seems like he actually tried to take her up on an offer to feel them up at some point in the past but she was trolling him.

@Sethraw I mean, the fact that Iroha is in love with him and he's the only one she feels free to be herself around was pretty obvious as far back as the first chapter.

Iroha is title girl and first girl, but the plot isn't with her right now. Hoping she wins, she's awesome.

Interrupting this intense ship war to point out that Thirteen Orphans is 48000 points, not 4800 points.

Iroha is the main girl, first girl, title character, etc.

Mashiro is the tragic heroine, the sacrificial lamb to be used to push the main girl's ship while getting her feelings trampled on.

Both are awfully written females and the author feels no shame about forcing the status quo to keep writing about this.

You might or not take this as a spoiler but so far
there's near zero progress between the lead characters beyond having feelings for the other inside their brains but keeping the act like morons as usual outside while the author throws more and more haremettes at the male protagonist because Iroha can't keep the interest once you get her character pattern in the very first book.
Is this harem? Yes.
Will it end as harem? Lol nope.
