This single chapter is a prime example of a "to be soon axed" story. There is easily 4-5 chapters worth of detail content that has just been brushed aside leaving almost nothing meaningful behind besides a few cliches. Its like they specifically got rid of the actual story and important world building details so they could cram in that 1 more cliche... I get it is a Chinese story, which are almost always over the top about cliches, but usually there is some detail to go along with it. But I assume this will all be explained in an info dump next chapter because gotta have that cliffhanger.

I know it is not getting axed, at least I have not yet heard anything about it getting axed. I was just saying this is the kind of stuff I have seen many "to be axed" stories push out just to get to the end where they can actually call it an end, and not just having the manga stop mid arc. Basically, if the chapter was split in at least 2, maybe even more chapters, where it either set up better or went deeper into the explanation of where/when MC is currently at, it would have flowed a lot more smoothly. I mean, in just a few chapters, we turned what was set up to be a fantasy based, swords and magic story into that, but also with sci-fi robotic power suits with energy shields, guns, and such, while hitting on every generic cliche in the book along the way. Guess I just cant get a grasp of what kind of story this will be.
