Neither would taking a picture with Yuni, but Nanase refused to do that too. Throughout this whole manga, Nanase has been a girlfriend almost strictly in name only. ("I have nothing better to do" - Nanase, to her volleyball team on her anniversary with Yuni) People like to rag on Yuni, but when your "girlfriend" is more concerned with looking like she doesn't have a girlfriend, then let's not act like Yuni has done what she's done for purely shits and giggles.

My only complaint about Yuni is her being unable to listen to her own heart, but at the same time, that's why I love Yuni. She's a young, almost exceedingly beautiful teenager, and she behaves with all of the arrogance and indecisiveness of one. She's smart enough to know, yet not wise enough to have the conviction to commit to her feelings.

Unfortunately some people are too triggered at cheating to actually think about the situation, for all her flaws Nanase was indeed innocent before, Yuni should have never cheated on her obviously, there's no arguing on that in my opinion, no matter how much of a poor girlfriend she was Yuni shouldn't have done that.

But some people are ignoring that Nanase found about the cheating, still want to be with Yuni, so she promised to change and be a better girlfriend, yet she's  already repeating the same mistakes from before, breaking her promise to be better and give more time and attention to Yuni, giving others more priority, and to make it worse it's not even her volleyball club, but something else altogether that was never her problem to begin with.

Literally random people is more important than Yuni, just because they asked for her help.

Fact is that now whatever happens is as much on Nanase as it is on Yuni, she's not a poor clueless victim anymore after breaking her promise.

Oh don't get me wrong, Yuni absolutely is more in the wrong here, no doubt about that, my main issue is that people act as if Nanase is a poor little baby who never did anything wrong, we're shown again and again that everything and everyone has priority over Yuni, she's negligent as fuck the entire story.

Is her fears of people finding she's gay justifiable? Yes, but if she can't be there for her girlfriend, can't even give her the generic basic skinship she literally gives to everyone else, just because shes so scared of being found out? Then she shouldn't be in a relationship to begin with.

But you're right, they're just not compatible, Yuni is needy and Nanase wants to have it all while keeping Yuni in the backburner.

Nanase wants to give as much time to volleyball as she can cause she loves it, she wants to help in the race cause they asked her, and she still wants to be with Yuni while having no time for her.

Reminder to the people who ignore it, Nanase asked for Yuni to continue to be her girlfriend and yet she still don't make time for her, once again she's taking her for granted and leaving Yuni to suck her thumb, you can't really blame her for going to suck Fuuka thumb when she feels lonely and neglected after being promised better.

Fact is Nanase is spineless, scared of people finding she's gay, scared of giving Yuni same skinship she gives to her friends in public, can't say no when asked for help, the only one who she isn't spineless to is Yuni, ironically, since she believes Yuni will understand and accept she doesn't have time for her.

Also just to make a point, Nanase don't give Yuni even basic skinship and treatment she gives to her friends, remember when she asked Yuni to go see her play in another city? When Nanase is with her friends she don't even treat Yuni as a friend, she was just there being a third wheel to the volleyball club.

Let that sink, if her volleyball club or friends are around Nanase don't even treat Yuni as a friend because she's scared anyone will suspect their relationship, makes one wonder, what does the volleybal girls think of Yuni? The girl Nanase invited but she doesn't give any attention to, she's just there, nobody paying attention to her, not even Nanase who is the one who invited her to begin with.

Nanase should get a girlfriend with same interests as her or marry a volleyball, cause she simply can't give what Yuni wants, time and attention.

Another great chapter, thank you for the update.

I think the tension between Yuni and Nanase will finally come to a head soon; Yuni is realizing that even after she went through the trouble of choosing Nanase over Fuuko, she still loves Fuuko more because she fills the gaps Nanase can't.

This has been a theme from the very start, but Nanase continues to be negligent of her relationship with Yuni and is still putting other things above her, things that don't even matter.

As awful as Yuni is for cheating on Nanase, I just want to see her finally break up with Nanase and be happy with Fuuko. Of course, that probably won't happen anytime soon, but I'm hoping these next few chapters don't just retread the same plot beats as before and we see some real progress.

What can l say? Yuni and Fukko are just so perfect for each other. I don't even feel bad for Nanase. CAUZE Yuni absolutely ain't worth it. But if Nanase still wants to be with that human shape of garbage, she has to tolerate the obvious outcome of it, which l will be hard to sympathize her anymore.

And I can agree Nanase does neglect Yuni and take her club first. However, from my point of view, it doesn't justify cheating, not even a bit.
