I think you (and many others) misunderstand this work. It is not a revenge story. Nothing bad (non-self-inflicted) has and will happen to Yuni or Fuuko. This is about them winning and what comes with cheating (e.g. this chapter Yuni unironically thinking she is a victim and Natsume being bad while Natsume was a reasonably good gf certainly not deserving of this). Deflecting. Anxiety. Self-deception. Moving on etc.

Edit: just to add, if you did not yet realize, this is Yuni's and Fuuko's story. Those two are the main characters. They might be losers but they don't ~lose~.
