This story is going to have both lovers and haters and people on both sides. It's the reality of a situation like this. Yuni is 100% in the wrong for cheating. In this case we have a character who is starved for attention, and a character (Nanase) who is unwilling to provide enough attention.

They're simply a bad match, but prior experiences and feelings have built up enough that it's hard to just "break up". Along comes someone who is more than willing to provide all the wants and needs of said person, and is so forward they just kept swept up. She knows its wrong, so she pushes back, but at the same time is constantly being berated by neglect by her partner and aggression by Fuuko. This duality causes her to struggle.

Logic can easily solve these issues, but they're real issues people deal with sadly. There are no good guys in this story, nor in real life stories similar. Nanase is clinging to their relationship just as much as Yuni while being a bad match for her, so you can't just assign zero fault. Cheating is never the correct solution, but the events leading to it aren't one sided generally.

I only read the first chapter.

This is clearly brilliant from the artwork to the writing. Top to bottom.

Too bad it's a Mandelbrot set of red flags. No matter how far in you zoom, it's red flags all the way down.

So I'm going to rate this one highly, and step out. It's definitely for someone else to enjoy.

The art is legitimately gorgeous. I could almost just stay for the art.

Nanase is not guilty of cheating, but instead guilty of neglect, of not showing love, just generally not doing anything for the relationship at all, and whenever she decides to do something, it's usually too late.
What alot of people seem to have missed, is the fact that Nanase always enjoyed the company of her 'best' 'friend' more, which would sent any girlfriend into a bit of a hissy fit to be fair.
Now pair that with all the neglect going on, and a cute girl showing up to take the neglecting airheads place ..
well, i don't blame Yuni, and i'm rooting for Nanase to be replaced by Fuuko.

I don't think I've ever disliked an MC as much as Yuni. Props to the author for so accurately portraying the absurd self pitying we've all been guilty of as teenagers. Her inner monologue and social posts could be pulled straight from a discord vent channel or private twitter account. That accuracy doesn't make an enjoyable read mind you, its just a mess of self destructive behavior that I can't tear my eyes from.

The emotional abuse that Natsu is going through because of Yuni's inability to communicate, plus the infidelity that Yuni justifies through the most juvenile reasoning I've ever had this misfortune of reading, is really getting to be too much. I've read trash, but this just hits a little too close to genuine toxic relationships. I like manga that can illicit an emotional response from me, but this just makes my stomach turn if I'm being honest.

this manga is actually really complicated but somehow i feel a grow of attachment to yuni. its like i can truly feel and understand how her minds work. i totally love this manga 10/10, toxic yuri at it finest

Honestly, I am on Yuni side even after the Theater Kiss. Poor girl is dealing with these mix of emotions that are lust, love, regret, neglect, and depression.

I don't agree of her cheating ideal as it is morally wrong to go behind your partner back. It proves that you are likely to betray others to satisfy yourself. However, I do have sympathy for her because I too face a mixture of emotions. This eventually had me go through a phase where I just shut off my emotions for a long time. (I am getting better... I think.)

In the end, Yuki would likely break up with her current girlfriend and love solely on Fuuko.

totally agree, i know cheating its not the most best way cuz its morally wrong too. but whos to blame anyway? sometimes, love just doesnt go as planned. nanase wants to focus on her club, i know how frustrated yuni is but nothing can really changed her mind.

fuuko in the other hand, seems more of a suitable partner for yuni (my opinions). compared to nanase, fuuko actually took a good look to yuni. like how shes able to spot yuni even in the crowds while nanase cant even spot her.

i cant blame yuni for cheating even tho its wrong, but i actually would so the same thing if my girlfriend cant even pay me a proper attention that i wanted. of course while i was doing that i would feel guilty too, a mix of anger, sadness, and guilty. i would want to kill myself too if i was really overwhelmed with emotions lol

I hate that I read this but just can't look away lol. Hope we get some genuine character development and this doesn't just go on forever, none of the people involved deserve it really.
