@tama7315666 wow... i guess that must be why people can't sympathise with sooah here since each character in webtoon has no one for support. but the drama adaptation is different. mirae has her parents and best friend. kyungsuk has his little sister and dad. while sooah is completely alone on her own.

+1 to Kie and sporkaganza.

Maybe it's because I generally prefer psychology/dark fiction over romance but I am glad to read more about Sooah. So far there author did well with storytelling.

There is a limit of what can be believable when it comes to bullying and having bad family. This certainly is way past that limit. It's too extreme that it feels out of place. I don't think it's bad for Sooah to have had some struggles growing up. But them just hating on her for the sake of it doesn't really fit. Especially the mother randomly hating her daughter for no reason. Things like this are some of the most prominent issues I find it Romance dramas from Asian countries ( Mostly Korea and China) The MC being bullied is always way too much. It gets to the point that you can't really relate or feel sympathy for some characters cause it's so drawn out.

I hate her so much that at this point her sad background really doesn't matter to me.

Sooah's situation as an unwanted child is not exactly unrealistic, but what is unrealistic is how long it took for her parents to abandon her. Most unwanted children quickly end up in the foster system or just plain abandoned in front of churches or hospitals. It makes very little sense for them to treat her like shit (unless they are sick, abusive people inside, unfortunate that such people do exist in real life) and still keep her for so long before up and abandoning her.
