;-; dan-i should end up with yeoreong tbh they’re so cute ;-; but dang dan-i kinda cut throat but realistically, that’s what normal people would do. can’t get caught up in things ya can’t handle like that.

I think this is the first time I actually thought her actions were actually harsh. I mean I understand her point but still, I think he looked hurt?

on god if yall actually stayed for an explanation after something like that then yall are askin for trouble. dan being cold and shooting him down like that was reasonable tho cause tf this girl got enough problems to worry about that dont involve getting disappeared by some cia lookin guys

Dan-I is reasonable. Even if Ruda explained it, they can't help him bc they are just students that will get caught with Mafias... plus they are still mostly stranger w/ each other who just recently met in class.

I think Ruda also preferred it that way, he doesn't have to explain his situation when he is obviously not ready to answer it.

god that ending just made it come off as if she doesn’t care to help or understand Ru-da, but it’s really the most rational choice for her to take to live a normal life... though, is just knowing about it and offering to be an emotional support really that bad of an idea?

Poor Ru-da man :(

Dan-I is always trying to avoid "webtoon rules" or troupes
I think the troupe is "now that you know ill have to kill you or your involved know" or something

Oh my that's got to hurt. Poor Ru Da I feel bad for him. And Dan-I, I think she's this way because she views the world around her as webnovel. She believes avoiding people who seem like the main lead would give her a peaceful life like a mob, but doesn't realise that she's hurting others in the process. Can't entirely blame her, that's the best choice one could make in that situation to prevent any more complications.

Well IMO, she just chose her words poorly and started to talk for BOTH of them instead of just herself. Should've just said that she'll go ahead as that sounds too dangerous for "regular" person like her. 🤔

Edit: Well I guess she did it for her friend too, she was just very direct with it.

It was a bit harsh but I get why Dan-I said that. That must've been a really scary experience, she's not quite in the wrong to just break off the relationship and try to live without the drama. Especially since she's been putting up with the webnovel shit for so long, though Ru Da doesn't have that context. Ahhh, there's never enough chapters to satisfy me! Thanks for the double uploadddd

Woah, I was not expecting that. It makes sense why she would say that but I still feel bad for Ru-da. Hopefully Yeoryeong will stop her.

Thank you so much for this double update!!

@Yunefia No, she was right. As they say, curiosity killed the cat. Yeoryeong was only asking because she was curious and they were involved in that stuff just now, but if they're not gonna be after them then it was correct for the MC to not let her hear it.
Be it Yeoryeong's kindness as a heroine or the way novels work, they're definitely gonna get involved somehow. If she truly cares about her friend she'll try to keep herself and Yeoryeong away from it. You can't just say the MC should let Yeoryeong do as she pleases and mind her own business...this'll both hurt Yeoryeong and she'll just be doing what she knows is right just to save herself but not her friend.

Plus, if Yeoryeong truly wants to know she can just refuse Dan-I. Dan-I just said they don't need to know, conveying that they should not involve themselves any further. One doesn't act like this out of selfishness, it's usually through love. She made the mature and hard decision here and decided for Yeoryeong's sake too cause she knows what's right and she worries. No matter how bad that might sound, mothers do it all the time for their children.
