Ya know when you ignore the elephant in the room that is the entire basis of this manga... it's a rather decent ecchi rom-com. The manga genuinely improves once we get past the first set of chapters with him being stuck in the dog form. The art is also top tier and all of the fan service that isn't straight up beastiality is godly, it actually reminds me a lot of Why the hell are you here, Sensei?!.
Mind you... this does require you to ignore that our main heroine is a zoophile and the dog groping, kissing etc.. I also REALLY don't like how Karen's zoophillia is treated by the main cast. This isn't a doujin where it is just 20 pages of a fetish and then it ends without having to the delve into the reality of the person's problematic desires, it is a character trait of her's that we're just kinda supposed to accept which I just can't. I'm not bashing anyone's feral furry fetish but in the context of the world the characters live in Karen is a zoophile and needs professional help. That's what REALLY brings it down for me and I just don't understand how even someone with the fetish this manga is pandering to could walk away thinking everything is just a lighthearted goofy time in this story. I know the Harkness Test would fly with this manga since MC is capable of consent in the dog form, but at this point in the translated scans Karen just thinks MC is a normal dog and is doing shit from her perspective with a creature that can't consent.
Overall there are parts and aspects of this manga that are good and passable as an ecchi romcom but the unfortunate implications just bog it down. I'll keep reading this since I do like MC and the cast members that aren't dog fuckers but I really don't recommend this unless you can stomach and trudge through the main fetish of the manga. As for those who have the fetish that this manga is pandering too I hope this a eight outta ten for you lot though I do hope everyone's nonchalant acceptance of our main heroine's zoophilia bothers you the way it does me.
