yeah, this is a clear "BEWARE" sign; any conscious creator would not do so.
Same applies to light novels: if the whole chapter is full of fluff writing (repeated phrases like "junior,do you dare?!", "they sucked in a breath of cold air",etc..more on Wuxiaworld's "Chinese idiom glossary"; or describing extremely minor character's clothes in extreme detail, from top to bottom, hair to shoes), then it is most likely just to lenghten the novel for cash.
Martial God Asura has 4400+ chapters, and more than half of it could be thrown directly to the garbage and it would only improve the novel.

I'm reading the novel for this, currently at ch15, and it's not really good,but not true trash either..There's 47 chapters translated at the moment,so I hope it will improve later on

You know, after reading so many trash revenge manga, this one is scrapping the bottom of the barrel. This one doesn't even give the antagonists enough screen time or personality to be unique. Everything we know about them is third person. As far as I'm concerned they might as well be faceless mob character 1 thru 6. Maybe they could do something more, but it seems the author is more concerned with covering all of the bases as far as tropes are concerned that he forgot that a minimum amount of character development helps even when villains are concerned. In fact the best villains are always well developed characters.

I don't have high hopes for this one, but maybe it will surprise me.

@Hyenagames yeah, the classic Japanese food trope where they need to describe the taste of things and how they are coocked perfectly.
I can understand in a manga like Shokugeki no Soma, but for anything else it really is annoying.

It was one of few things in the novel that had some grab to it. Here it feels like a non event

I have really low standard when it comes to mangas plot but this one is really bad. Everything was half baked, took 4 page to set up revenge plot that both shallow and undeveloped, then jump right to another revenge story with a character that only appear for 4 pages.

In these fantasy franchises, which make me wonder that where are demon lord's guards when the heroes kill him? If the body guards and other guard have number of thousands, myriads, the heroes wouldn't able kill them all until the demon reinforcement arrive.
