She's meeting him to break up with him while inviting him to her wedding with somebody else in month and yet thinks has the moral highground because caught him with someone else? Talk about pathetic trying so hard to convince herself she's better or has the moral highground. After he and the dog are soaking wet giving evidence to his story that he saved her dog. Also, it takes MONTHS to plan a wedding even if you hire somebody to help out. Unless you're doing one of those Vegas weddings where you just walk in, pay, and get hitched in 15 minutes there's a ton of things to do. Considering what a prima donna the ex is and how mommy dearest wants the best for her they'd have to have been going about at least 4-6 months on finding the right location, choosing the bride's dress, the bridesmaid dresses, coordinating the above so it goes well together, meal plan, decorations, flowers, who is being invited, who is sitting where, rehearsals, and a whole slew of stuff. After all, can't invite a big shot and have him sit at the farthest table in the worst area, right?
Hope MC explains what a universe pot is soon. Seems like his luck is already getting better since he's got a connection with Zhao Nan and likely rescue Liu Lingling in next chapter.
