I thought it was the mantis girl because of her dotted eyebrows and similar hair color and thought there might've been some kind of time skip where she grew her hair out, but your comment makes more sense.

Yeah, if you go back to after the Spider vs Mantis fight, Kiri (Mantis-girl) said that a bunny priestess gave her the throwing knife-charms to form the barrier they were in. This is that priestess.

Because some stories have shorter spans than others. You don't need an epic like War and Peace, or One Piece, or Detective Conan to be a great story. Some of the best literature are short stories and novellas.

And maybe in time, we will have a continuation with the daughter of Taya and Haru getting her own husband.
