I think this manhua needed some time to get into itself. It’s not perfect, but the roughest point is the beginning middle chapters. The story hasn’t settled yet and the world-building isn’t the strongest, but after you get past that hump, it gets much better, because the flaws in that world start to reveal themselves. A goal begins to emerge. Plus, the romance is so sweet and the art becomes better and better, I legit cried at the phoenix scene because I was so overwhelmed. If I had rated it at its weakest points, I would have given it a 6, but now after making it this far, I’m leaning towards a 9.
