People are allowed to make criticisms of a story. Just as you seem to like this story, people are allowed to voice their opinion about what they don't like about it too. It's the comment section after all. So you should take your own advice and "get over it". Slapstick humor I can get along with but romanticizing toxic behavior like hers as something harmless/cute/funny is a big fat huge NOPE from me.

You were the one complaining about everyone else's opinion about her problematic behavior. And I didn't deny your opinion, I literally told you that people should be allowed to voice their opinion on the story whether it may be positive or negative. Then followed that up with what you said to everyone else: "to get over it". Your words, not mine. You didn't like that did you? So next time, don't do that.

I can judge it however I like. If I didn't like what happened in a chapter, I'm free to voice it out. There's a reason why there's a comment section for each release for people to write the reactions on.

Never said that. You are entitled to your option just I as am to mine. All I'm saying is that you are reading too much into the PROLOGUE. Don't judge it until you read the rest of the story. I read the translated portions of the light novel. There is a lot more going on than you think. Also, you are judging the entire series on about 5 pages of interaction with about 10 lines of actual dialogue.


If you go look at other series you see this all the time in the prologue. It's called a Hook. You are reading into it waaaaaaaaay too much. If you don't like this genre, don't read. If you do, suspend your self righteousness until your about 3 chapters in.

And no, I'm not reading too much into things. There are plenty of people other than me who thought she was being toxic as well and it's a fair thing to point that out. Let people evaluate what they see without you making snarky remarks about them because you don't like it. How about you get off your high horse, and let people react how they want.

Thinking about it again I remember a plot where the protagonist or one of the love interest had to wear a mask because they were so beautiful people would pass out from seeing them. If that's the case with him(because she cries upon seeing him and looks starstruck), maybe he interpreted as people fainting because of a "hideous" appearance. Maybe people would start overting their eyes, or say they can't look upon him, or run away because his beauty was blinding.

This seems like one of those mangas.
