CALLING ALL THEORIST CRAFT-ER ON THIS ONE.

one of my theories is its kinda fight club kinda stuff. there is no 2 character in the first place, its only one.

yuko, our MC is a hikikomori, based on that either mom, sister or any relatives reaction towards MC going to school.

and im might be forcing it but the "alter Ego" being destroyed in that weird dream represents some kind of revelation making the MC getting out of the room.

what i dont get is why? hikikomori can be happened for several dark reasons, so the ending not being dark actually dissapoints me.

another thing i dont get is, why calls the alter ego onee chan.

My interpretation of this is that it's a metaphor for yuko gradually recovering from being a shut in. The military people attacking her in town are supposed to suggest that Japanese society doesn't really know how to deal with such problems, and have in fact completely misdiagnosed the issue. In the end Yuko has to come to terms with herself rather than being saved by society.
