I actually feared for Yaichi for quite a bit when the chapter initially dropped. My heart couldn't take it if he actually died 😭 I can't believe we'll have to say good bye to Yaichi and Sataki for this chapter though. I'll honeslty miss the two, but I'm hoping we'll at least get to see them sometime in the near future 🥹
I was speaking with my co-worker who helps me buy the volumes from Japan and roughly translates things for me as we go (when I purchase the newer chapters on comic days). She said that Teki-sensei had always been intentional with their story telling and with how this manga is currently at a climax point—perhaps we're close to the end of the current arc? 17 chapters in and the truly wasted no time at all with chapters I could careless about. Their story telling sure is something else, and I hope this keeps up 😭
Unfortunately, that usually makes up a big bulk of the reason why I drop mangas very often and haven't picked up on reading any new once since 2019 until Myther came along.
I'm wholeheartedly excited to see what exactly is coming next, now that Vanitas and Kyo have met. It looks like the missing puzzle piece now is Yuri 👀
