lol people wondering why gods doing that and calling it generic?
literal lores of olympus and Norse also like this, those who called Gods are so petty that they make children looks like adult.
I think your point only reinforces their argument. It is generic precisely because there are plenty of examples, no?

Anyone has a link for translation of WN / LN of this?

I wanna read more, cuz it's got my interest.

No translations, which is not surprising since the WN got only 45 very short chapters before being dropped. The author's comment said that the novel's updates frequency "would decrease" due to the LN and manga adaptations, but the last chapter was over a year ago and he writes other novels, so I'm not expecting it to be revived. On top of that, I couldn't find anything about said LN adaptation, so it either got super delayed or cancelled.

Doesn't bode well for this manga's longetivity.

In Vietnam, we say "they hate you when you're rich, despise when you're poor and try to kill when you're smart" (giàu nó ghét, đói rét nó khinh, thông minh nó tìm cách diệt). Same thing applies here. Too powerful? You must go, then.

insert tsundere brat goddess who got rejected by a resident hero in the city
Unfortunately, that kind of writing seems too high-quality for this series.

Also what do you mean the backstory of the CITY ITSELF is basically "I got kicked out of my party by people that never actually liked me". This genre found new lows to sink to.

Y'know, I always figured the non-interference clause in most God's self introduction was mostly BS. I mean sure there will always be times when a delicate hand is needed to prevent collateral damage, but for the vast majority it just comes off like a skill issue, they're being miserly with their power, and or can't be bothered to take the time to do it themselves.
I like how it is treated in My Quiet Blacksmith Life in Another World. There’s a godlike entity who explains that her power is so strong she can’t do any subtle intervention, in the same way your big fingers can’t fine-tune the tunnels of an anthill.

It sounds more like a lore of the Bible, The destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah to be exact. Which means we're having incest shimadon under the way!
I see someone knows their classics!

To me that falls under skill issue. Because I'm sure they could if they just took the time to work on their control. I mean sure a lumberjack doesn't really worry fine motor control of their fingers beyond gripping their chainsaw or axe, but a clockwork watch maker or neurosurgeon handles rather delicate work on the micro scale.

Something does not add up here.

They must have done something other than simply being too powerful. If the gods erased and cursed you it must have been for a good enough reason other than jelaousy, right author-sama?
Well the typical reasoning is fear.
IN a city that's full of heroes you should be able to find individuals powerful enough to kill gods.

Then again it might be that they found out the gods were not really gods, but humans with access to magic/technology that seems like a divine power. And pre-emptively struck to erase the "dangerous" Heroes.
And perhaps the reason Necromancy is banned is precisely because a powerful necromancer can gain access to knowledge from long dead individuals.

my point is you cant expect people to creating something new when many kind of stories troupe like that already exist Before Jesus Christ even born.
those author are not super humans like those inventors who create something new from scratch, they just want to create story based of their imagination after reading or seeing other people's works, thats called inspiration.

people calling it generic on anything nowadays that it become generic... lol
