Oh my God, that hurts. MC is a man of poor wording; it's understandable, given his fear and shock, but still.

Just adding a few outbursts of "LEAVE ME AND KYOKO ALONE" would've set the context better in her mind, less about hating the girl he loves and more about hating this phenomena that haunted MC for a long while now.
