They are in the same class and that's it. Do you see him interact with anyone else from the same class apart from the obnoxious dude from this chapter? Avoiding her is no a problem. He also doesn't care about her neither romantically nor physically. He is aware that she is after some mentally ill shit considering she almost fucked up the sister and he is, for some god forsaken reason, insists on not telling her to fuck off and becomes a mute retard in her presence. Because plot needs her to be a thing.

Her entire character hinges on people NOT ignoring her. We've seen what happens when people tell her to fuck off and walk away from her with the bathroom scene. Her entire shtick collapses instantly.
