Taking a break just to rest feels like a waste tho lol , when you only work and rest you want to do something anything in rare free times

Let me share an analogy that someone shared with me and I found incredibly useful in visualizing and managing stress. Whoever is reading this might find it just as useful when someone explained it to me:

Imagine a long hallway that you have to cross multiple times in an hour, for example a path from an apartment to the main entrance of that apartment building.

Stress would be objects in the hallway slowly building up such as furniture from other residents, moving boxes, your neighbors, trash and so forth. You can still move back and forth in the hallway, but it is much more difficult.

Much like stress, these boxes and objects need to be IDENTIFIED and DIRECTLY dealt with in an appropriate way. That means TIME and EFFORT needs to be taken in order to deal with it directly. That also means having a proactive approach to managing this stuff, planning and scheduling etc.

Stress isn’t good or bad, it is your body wanting you pay attention to certain stimulus. It’s when you attach a negative feeling and association with it when things get bad. You don’t want to develop avoidance behaviors when it comes to stress, that just leads to people developing really destructive coping mechanisms.

You don’t get fearful or anxious when you get sleepy. It’s just your body letting you know you are tired. As the captain of your own body, you can choose to ignore it or even take energy drinks if you need to in that situation.
