I think something that people are missing out on is what Tanuki was getting Sis to understand. All her issues in the first place came down to her feeling like a burden in the first place. Her lack of self-respect, her self-destructive behavior, and others being able to take advantage of her were all because she felt like a burden on her family. All the effort Tanuki was making was to get her to understand that she isn't a burden on her family, that she is loved, and that she can rely on them. Then tsundere came in and gaslit her back i to thinking she's a burden. It has nothing to do with Tanuki wanting to control Sis, and everything to do with Sis geting manipulated back into feeling like she's a burden.

My advice is that you don't have to already have a plan. You don't have to already know who you will be or what you'll be doing for the rest of your life. You're supposed to grow and change throughout your life, so expecting you to be set in stone during your youth is honestly dumb. It's good enough to only know exactly what you are doing right now, or to do only the very next thing you want to do. You only need to try your best to improve yourself to be using your life correcrly.

Pretty great writing, even visually translated with the self-imposed distance on the sister. Tanuki realized how selfish his endeavor can be, but at the same time, he is right to be wary.

Any other person, getting a part-time would be no big deal. But the sister seem to still consider herself a burden, and now that she thinks she sees him getting along with Mochikuzi, she's taking this as a cue to push herself out.

Funnily enough, that's even the opposite of the psycho girl wants, so the sister is not only ignoring what she truly wants but what everyone else wants.

Advice? Sure, let me share my lived experience.

Don't fall for "fat is beautiful" bullshit. It is not attractive for the vast majority of people, but that's a trifle next to the fact that obesity is a gateway to a multitude of very serious illnesses and diseases, including these of cardiovascular, inner secretion, and locomotor systems.

Especially as you get older, obesity makes you weaker, less energetic, aging faster than your more fit peers.

It increases the risk of a stroke (which turns you into a drooling vegetable unable to speak or stand up to shit somewhere other than your own bed) or diabetes (with all of its consequences up to gangrene of extremities like fingers and toes).

If your health allows doing sports, try to keep fit. Even if it doesn't, control your caloric intake - it's not expensive and it's not too hard, if you do it every day and make it a habit.

No, problem is, the crazy bitch, through manipulation and gaslighting, made the sister feel like a burden once again. That's why she decided to look for a job all of a sudden. For the "good of the family". And that's why MC is angry. Bitch fucked up everything he was working towards which is for the sister to feel like she is part of the family for real and not a burden. Sister reached an understanding but that was the bitch's fucked up "ideal family" one. Bitch doesn't care about the sister as long as she gets what she wants.
