I just hope Mochizuki will keep on being harmless. A "she was evil all along!"-twist would be lame.Could the author be turning it around and making the MC the bad influence this time around? It always felt off to me how his goal had always been to essentially mold her to his model. It'd be an interesting way to recontextualize earlier chapters as foreshadowing.
MOCHIZUKI VI BRITANNIA COMMANDS YOU-I assume this is meant to be heart shaped pupils but it looks more like the code geas eye thing to me

i feel like this makes the most sense. I was trying to figure out what it was that was wrong, what it was bro spotted, but i couldn't do it. this explains it well imo; and it also kinda shows another intresting thing: If this is the case, mochizuki underestimated tanuki's focus on his sis, because he pretty much immideately picked up on it and is going to root it out.If Tanuki's right about his sister getting better at lying, then this whole thing makes a lot of sense and actually gets interesting.
I think Tanuki wants his sister to pursue her dreams and rely on her family. But Mochizuki doesn't want that, because she wants Tanuki's attention solely for herself. So she's influencing sister to appear to be fine so Tanuki will stop worrying about her.

Also, a couple of mistakes. Page 8 has "why do sudden" instead of "why so sudden". Page 9 "it'd be lame if kept being" should be "it'd be lame if I kept being". Page 12 "ya that choice" should be "ya made that choice".
No. I understand that the author understands exactly what they are doing. They understand so much about understanding that it is us the readers who don't understand. So the author shows us what understanding looks like by making her characters understand understanding. And once you think you understand that the characters understand understanding, you have to understand that the understanding is incomplete and will require more understanding of understanding.Am I the only one who thinks the author has no idea what to do?
