Surprised that'd be more common in japan considering ppl take trains everywhere but it's not so bad
if they're both at the same convention for otaku reasons versus one "nerding out" and another one like "Ugh i was dragged to rent a room on this business trip" but i wonder how many go in disguises or hire someone else to sell at their booths for them in that case b/c i know there are some famous ppl that never show their face (wonder how they get past those cons where you need to show an id/get a badge but maybe they have managers for that, it is amusing to think about some A-list celeb just wearing a spiderman costume and walking around buying merch so they're not stopped for autographs even if they'd be stopped for pics) , but at least it wasn't him, although that'd be frustrating if he was somehow a skilled mangaka but a shitty coworker (tho i guess the two wouldn't be mutual exclusive but i would totally be passive aggressive about it like 'just because you make money from another job doesn't mean you get to half ass this one')

Dang i wonder if that girl rly does have a cheat skill or if her brain 'panic mode' makes her amazing at calculations, tho i guess we won't know for sure unless she does like pachinko/gambling (tho there was that 'gacha' bonus panel)

someone said she had 'impostor' syndrome so maybe it's more than dumb luck?/some magical bs (since this is a slice of life, then again i think 'irl ghosts' have appeared in those kinda manga too unless it's just something ppl believe, like how everyone draws fortunes on new year tho idk how many seriously pray constantly as opposed to it just being a tradition ppl do whether they believed or not) tho she did help a friend/relative with some gacha game? i'd wanna test it and buy like ten lotto tickets from diff stores or do a random horse betting match, if she feels guilty about it she could always share with her relatives/help them out or so
