While I continue to read from morbid curiosity in how it ends in a few chapters... I find myself getting more annoyed, but vetching about it almost feels like kicking a dead horse at this point.

That said... This villain is so utterly annoying, I don't fear for the MC at all. I've ranted about gross I find this guy already, but for all the fear/hype/gravitas heaped upon his amazing skills and prowess... He stands there and shoots people. If needed he can make a bounce point for a ricochet shot, or mess with folks with reflections... But he doesn't move.

There is no swordplay or combat skills, this pinnacle of mages points and shoots, then has a temper tantrum if he doesn't get his way.

Also he laughs in "w"s...

This fight is so fucking boring. That pos is just standing in place doing nothing, just occasionally shooting some light beams. Meanwhile MC evades, calculates and disrupts his opponent's attacks constantly. However, everytime he could get the decisive blow in there's a new "Ha! Gotcha!" moment that prevents this.
Take notes people, this is how not to show a fight.

Everyone knows the MC didn't die. I hate these type of cliffhangers, it makes me less excited to see what happened.

Yeah lmao, 5 chapters and nothing interesting have happened. Every time the oh supposed op mc counters this twerp's attacks, a new gotcha moment comes (but it's basically same reflecting magic) and mc gets nervous again. And repeat

The villain laughs based on his nationality. If he was born in Thailand, he'd be laughing in "5555". If he was born in Mexico, then it's "Jajajaja"
