Honestly this couple ran out of good jokes and romance very early on, despite starting off strong. Also him rejecting her like that feels so weird ... like I get wanting to be better but becoming better together, side by side and learning to rely on each-other surely would have made more sense? Oh well, let's hope next couple is a little better.

Also, him denying and rebuffing her to go back to do rehab and run is... really fucking bizarre. First of all, there's no guarantee - in fact just the opposite - that you'll be able to bounce back and recover fully from that. And, even so, why do you have to not see her because of it? Just seems very convoluted and abrupt behavior. Much like a lot of the things in this chapter.
