I've noticed alot of Gyaru x loser/lonely guy/Otaku hit the wall HARD once the characters get together. They either struggle to progress the story cuz the main interest (the "will they, wont they") has ended or they just start introducing random tropes that make no sense regressing the characters back to their previous form or straight up abuse for no reason (if you know, you know)

I've only seen 2 mangas that haven't had this issue cuz shocker, the main character gets character development. That being Gals cant be kind to Otaku & Dont toy with me miss Nagatoro.

That's why you have to spend a little time building the characters and making them more than just an "Otaku, inexperienced, nerd" or a "Gyaru, slut, but pure at heart". Like, if I can describe a character in less than 10 words after 27 chapters, it's wraps. Give them interests, hobbies, goals, friends that aren't mirror images of themselves, something... anything.

And you can't get along with everyone, sometimes, family members will be against that, there are exceptions but most of the time, it's more important if the couple truly likes each other

I want this to stay wholesome only between the MC and the MFC but since the introduction of Saiga and now this cousin I have this guts feeling that the story will deviate for the worst. I don't know if the MC is capable of cheating but I can imagine something along those lines.
