Sigh… this is the start of Sakura’s reliance on Naruto. Obviously one of the reasons she can’t be on this retrieval mission is because Kishi still hasn’t given her a power up so that she actually able to do something. As far as we know she still has the same skill set she had since graduating from the academy. I’ve already mentioned everything else I think about part 1 Sakura in previous chapters, no need to bring that up again. I just can’t wait to get to the next arc where I can actually say good things about Sakura for the first time.

Aside from that, this is a nice team we have here, however, I would’ve like some other characters here instead of some. I would’ve liked to see Hinata here instead of Neji so that we could see some growth after she got beaten by him in the Chunnin exams. Not that there isn’t merit in Neji being in this mission but overall Hinata is one of the most underutilized characters in the series. Tenten would‘ve been neat too consierdering her chunnin exams fight got off screened in the manga, and it was also a harsh loss. Choji needs some screen time so I’m fine with him being here. I would switch Kiba with Tenten but then were missing a front scout for the team formation, idk dude, would just like to see more of the other characters.
