This manga is a confusing mystery. Not a thrilling manga the likes of death note or promised neverland. It's just gives you confusion where the plot is even going. Questioning what the antagonist motives, it remain unclear even with 55 chapters. I never felt much emotion reading. Maybe because I never really felt terrified nor care about anyone. Maybe because there's no "stakes". In other manga there are people who might die. Here it's only the life of the antagonist.

Funny that you see someone as antagonist here. Also this is not a horror you should not be terrified.
It's more like a puzzle/detective genre where you should construct theories about every characters motives.
It's a true seinen and likely on a more mature side since there's literally nothing black and white here. Suspencion here is only the motives. You don't know the real motive of the female lead i.e. wtf is wrong with here. You will learn in chapter 56-57 and then the next arc starts.
