At this point, I wonder if Touko and Shigeru actually realize that Takashi can see something hardly seen by normal eyes, yet they chose to not pay any attention to that. The loneliness in this chap creeps naturally yet beautifully

I first saw the anime long ago. I cried on this scene and many others. I recently decided to rewatch, thinking to myself that I wouldn’t cry anymore. I was wrong, I cried again.

I finally decided to read the manga. Many moments that made me cry on the anime didn’t make me cry here, but this chapter made me cry like a lil kid again, for the 3rd time.

That moment where Touko says that the crow must be so beautiful, shining so brightly that’s hard to see, what a powerful moment.

Everytime I come back to this scene, it always gotta make my heart ache just as bad when he ran to his dad’s home as a kid. It’s these scenes that I remember just how far Nastume has gotten and how much he’s changed.

Anime, manga, both just express it so well. I miss this and I’m glad I decided to reread the manga from when I was up to date a couple years ago
