@kwendy Dinamite by itself probably not, but the use of its components such as nitroglycerine still remains as one of the most important parts in military and combat engineering.

@RedSalt I don't think you extract nitroglycerine from dinamite considering whole point of dinamite is making nitroglicerine safe to transport and use. What you said sounded to me like "i don't think fireworks were used in cooking, but components such as fire are in use to this day."

@kwendy Dynamite itself was not used much in war I think, but the technology behind it was used to develop proper war explosives. It was however commonly used by bandits, vigilante groups, terrorists, and so on back in the day as it was a powerful weapon, and due to its use in mining it was easy to acquire.
