The comments be like death flag here, death flag there. The "go on ahead I'll hold them" is not a death flag, it's more of a victory flag really. Almost all such scenario end with the one left behind actually wiping the enemies only supposed to be held back, demerit only being exhausted and can't support on final battle and only to be retrieved later by the victorious hero or the "police".

@firosahoge No the series is nowhere near done. There's like another 7 chapters raw for the manga out and continuing, and the adaptation hasn't even reached the end of the first volume of the 7 LN volumes that are out.
