What a waste of skill and talent.
There is just too much squeezed into every page, so much visual noise yet nothing really happens. Every time a character is drawn they are striking a pose. Every time a character talks its in quips. In the big fight of ch 1, every action is a gag. What was the author thinking? Is western comic forever doomed to be this unholy amalgamation of marvel, dc, tumblr and globohomo with twitter proclivities added for flavor?
