You tried to copy Toiro, but it looks like you learned nothing. Who goes hostile on someone you don't even know like you did the first time you talk with Toiro's boyfriend. Not only that, you don't even trust Toiro and just question her and Masaichi. Nasty attitude, you didn't change from your loner days for sure.

Also, what is Toiro doing? Like, why are you not informing your "friend" about your fake boyfriend plan to avoid getting male attention? You don't trust her not to babble out? You couldn't even tell your friend to stop questioning/being so hostile to Masaichi at very least. It wouldn't matter if that made her suspicious as long she understand her interference is not appreciated, but if she keeps doing anyway, she doesn't respect you and I consider that a red flag as friends go.

Good on Masaichi for being proactive in improving himself. Though it would help to have some dignity and not take Nakasone's crap attitude.

what i hate in this genre on manga is those so called friends judging other people relationships, what matter is if they are happy she doesn't need a hot dude for it, unless she is in a toxic relationship there is no reason to intervene

LOL it's not you who decides Toiro's BF you bitchy goose :chad:
she is basically same as those idiotic commenters here tho, always calling the MC names if he doesnt straight up jump into bed with the FMC within the 1st chapter

its funny when there's a character thats written like those type of comments they vanish, only 25 comments in this chapter

probably feels called out

I really dislike this friend of the fmc character trope. Always so judgmental and entitled. Like why do people have to prove themselves to you? And what makes you qualified to be in the position to judge others? I wish more main characters refused to even engage with characters like this, stop taking the bait by indulging them and earnestly trying to prove yourself to them.

I'd be fine with this type of girl if the guy wasn't the childhood friend. She's trying to play the friend card but he supersedes her in that department as well. It'd be funnier if she knew him really well because of the things that she heard in middle school and was trying to figure out the two's secret instead of "checking" him every time.
Then you should be fine with her right? Because she doesn’t know he’s her childhood friend. As far as she knows, this came out of nowhere, so she barely knows anything about him or why they’re so close so fast. Sorry, I know this is from ages ago, but Christ I need someone I can agree with about this character in the comments, and you’re one of the closest things to it.

"Fine with" does come off kind of strong. But I was just speaking, as a trope this type of character can be a little annoying, even in its best use cases. Ultimately she's a good character and there's nothing wrong with looking out for your friend. But I do still think it would be way funnier if she knew and was just keeping it to herself.
