Can someone explain to me how we can attach photos from our device onto the comment?

and then right click the image and choose open image in new tab, it should give you to the direct link.
there's direct link option after you upload your image too.

*or just copy the 'BBCode' section

1)Do you change your avatar in the same way?
2)Are there any other sites you can use imgur for?

You don't need to make an account to upload to imgur.

you dont have to create account but it easier to keep track of your stuff
1) changing avatar is a direct upload from your device just try it
2) any site that use BBCode (basically any forum, mal, etc and works for forum signature too)
you can make a reddit image thread with imgur direct link (if that subreddit doesnt allow direct upload)
etc
