Ahhh, the usual "Japanese kid finds himself in a world where slaves are bought as fuckdolls or are worked to death and has no problem buying one for himself" trope.

Wew, if I hadn't seen this in the last 10 isekais!

NO! FUCK YOU, PROTAGONIST! YOU EVIL BASTARD!

If glasses don't exist in that world, INVENT THEM! Don't ruin her eyes! Short-sighted girls are PRECIOUS BEYOND COMPARE!
She had perfect meganekko potential and you fucking ruined it!

Well, this is the first major flaw in this series so far so I won't dump it at just that... but I am VERY disappointed in this course of events. She was just fucking BEGGING for the invention of glasses and this d-bag wasted her skill points undoing her gift. What a bellend!

what the fuck you mean you can't force them? in  anything? says who? then they're just, like, employees not slaves

so if they misbehave you what? stop feeding them? that's probably harsher than physical force. but really what's the difference? you have more authority over your wife and kids than over these "slaves," it doesn't make sense

this is like bdsm / 50 shades of gray style slavery where it's superficially "sexy" but the consent and contracts make it fake and gay

guess MC's party members or slaves will become OP since he can configure their stats and skills

throughout history any “slave trade” where people are bought and sold as commodities involved shuddering, Holocaust-level atrocities but with this little guarantee we can ignore that and imagine MC still kinda has a conscience even though he’s enslaving vulnerable women

doesn’t have to make sense logically it just has to grease the gears of the story

but slavery is only in these stories in the first place for that reason - escapism to a setting where you can get an obedient teenage virgin wife that is publicly acknowledged as your property.

this author doesn't get it that coercive authority is an essential part of that, rather than an immoral slavery thing that we want some excuse to exclude
