'Cause we got caught up with one of our most popular series: https://mangadex.org/title/8fb00aab...de-saikyou-to-nari-fuguu-na-oshi?tab=chaptersGuys! I just checked we are almost 10 chapters behind from the raws. Why are the translations are far behind from the raws ?
Sexuality and gender have nothing to do with it. Male or female; if a side character is actively wanting the MC out of the picture and takes up pages with their fantasies, thirsting after the FMC, when their personality is passable at best, they're annoying and I'd rather not see them anymore. At least, that applies to most characters like this. This one hasn't fallen into that territory yet, but she is on the cusp.We need more of her.
Why are there so many Goddamn lesbian haters these days on Mangadex?,for the one place where lesbians are portrayed in a likeable way, fictional entertainment media, and have none of the Twitter psychos is where no one should be having a problem with them.
Amen, comrade,we have best yuri! It's so funny how one lesbian character in a straight manga can bring so much chaos and disruption in the comments
But yuri fans still stay winning![]()
That's like saying a romance story should not have any competition whatsoever, more so competition that is flawed as such to show that the original choices can make it despite being inferior in several ways.Sexuality and gender have nothing to do with it. Except this isn't a couple that's still waffling about unsure of whether or not they actually like each other and need somebody on the outside to come in and make them realize it. They're already married and deeply in love. Their relationship is already at its peak and the only kind of competition that can be added would be characters trying to force them apart for purely selfish reasons. No fucking thanks. That's like saying a romance story should not have any competition whatsoever, more so competition that is flawed as such to show that the original choices can make it despite being inferior in several ways.
It is,in fact, such competition that is the whole reason most romance stories even begin, because there's no progress in keeping the status quo(childhood friends are this)nor is their a common hurdle to overcome(the outgoing who wish to woo one of the two),lacking these will result in a story where literally nothing of note happens,no changes in relationships due to no friction nor fluidity, just a slice of life story where they spend their whole lives as acquintances.
I'd rather see more of them in vast variety taking up plenty of pages, both in their own scheming fantasies and their asses duking it out with the main choices.
Except that occurs in all rom-coms as well.Except this isn't a couple that's still waffling about unsure of whether or not they actually like each other and need somebody on the outside to come in and make them realize it. As much as I don't want to indulge you, I'll just say this: even if you're right regarding competition, there are ways to write that and have it be interesting. A character like this is not interesting, just annoying. This isn't even competition, like what you're claiming, because she has no chance. Even losing heroines in harem-tagged series have more chance than she does. This is a one-note gag character whose entire bit was exhausted in 2 chapters and is quickly overstaying her welcome.Except that occurs in all rom-coms as well.
This one took literally the first chapter for them to get hitched, but regardless of how many chapters,be it dozens or even 200+,just getting together doesn't mean all the competition just vanishes, otherwise the world we live in would be void of cheating, marital woes, and divorce.
Yes,selfish reasons,BECAUSE ALL ROMANTICAL FEELINGS ARE SELFISH,and making onself happy with another person means a third/fourth/20th party is devoided of that happiness so you can have it for yourself along with all that it entails, and it is impossible to make everyone happy with the first result.
Voila, competition, the path to success and maintaining success is not without hurdles, and simply removing the hurdles makes for a boring story,if it can even be a story.
Rare exceptions exist, and even those substitute hurdles with other hurdles(true harems and/or even poly are this),some of said exceptions are even completely devoid of romance as a primary or even secondary aspect.
Brotha chill. We need more of her.

i absolutely adore her, she's a hootIdehya is so cute and funny. ^^
And as determined before, that is how competition works in romance stories.Brotha chill.
Its not hating on the Lesbian.
Its hating on the fact she's trying to NTR the MC.
Just because she's female and Lesbian, doesn't make it okay to NTR the male x female leads.
You say that like anyone has any chance outside of the obvious two that an artist will choose, rarely has an artist not railroaded the outcome from the very start if they manage to reach far enough into their story. As much as I don't want to indulge you, I'll just say this: even if you're right regarding competition, there are ways to write that and have it be interesting. Male competition in a romance story?,yes, just as acceptable.People are so quick to forgive and defend lesbian simp characters, but get soooo pissy over characters like Mineta and Master Roshi, even though they're virtually the same
You could even argue they're WORSE, since the male simps always get punished in the end while the female ones use "skinship" as an excuse to molest all they want with zero consequences
