Ah, my mistake then. I assumed the scanlation was caught up. I messaged Ike and he said he's working on some other manga for a school's anniversary project, and plans to resume after he's done with that.

Based on some notes on the manga publisher page, the mangaka stated that because of the Corona Virus lock downs, his manga work stalled and he lost practically all of his drive to make manga. Currently he's doing a lot of traveling and doing one off images of his characters, releasing a chapter every 6 months or so and that's about it.

Worst case scenario is that he cobbles these last chapters together into a volume and call it quits. I really hope he doesn't, but it's REALLY hard to keep enthusiasm about a work when the author themselves have lost all of theirs.

The raws have now have a 404. As far as I'm aware, it's over. Nice run, but kinda annoyed this guy pissed his good manga away like this

I have a few of his Altitude Altitude doujinshi, which are basically Neko Musume omake chapters. If there's an active scanlation group that wants to work on them, I could scan them sometime soon.

Even though I'm happy this series will get its next volume after 5 years, there is the odds that it could be the last one, as hinted by previous messages.
If that shall be the case, let's hope for a satisfying ending and also for a gentle group to come by again and finish the scanlation

Took a stab, and based on the chapters I glanced through, it ends with a cliffhanger with a tease saying something like "find out next time in vol 21" or something. Looks like its continuing, but no idea if the work pace of the mangaka will be better or the same.
