EDIT: Jesus, this is just one big metaphor for simps. She says she hates being treated like a cat, but spends all day letting others do it to her for money. Meanwhile the one guy she supposedly cares about has to fight her for even the bare minimum of what she gives everyone else. And she complains that that's all he wants her for, despite him being open and up front about this.

To add an extra layer, she also wants to complain when he gets his fix elsewhere after she neglects him.

It's not his fault that there's a parallel society of cat animorphs, one of which turns out to be both the stray he was petting all this time and in love with him. He's being kinda blasé about rejecting her, but he's not obligated to return her affections. Dude just wants to pet cats.
