Normal people, based on their faith, can choose to believe that they can reunited with their loved ones in the afterlife, but it wouldn't even be an option for her to have comfort in that.
She is clearly want to life and feel like a normal person yet the only path forward is for her to lose one of the most definitive trait of humanity itself, and considering that she fucking hates her family it would be extremely lonely even if she moved on from our main guy and potentially the next and next and next guy after that. It's like losing your own self

What exactly is stopping them if it's not immortality? Or is it because she was only born recently that she'll get maybe 70 years of human time. Then she has to hide due to immortality?

Edit: it keeps getting weirder the more i think about it. If she wanted to be normal, but had the issues of immortality. Those being seeing your friends and loved ones age and die before you, would she not isolate herself? Or keep everyone at arms length like our Male Mc used to?
I can't help but think the issue is something else.

Anyways if suddenly the next chapter has her go "Huh? Where'd you hear that?" Then I'm just gonna lie down for a while.

People can also believe that spirits will always be with them. And it's not all that improbable to be reality considering that there are literal shapeshifting cat-people in the universe of this manga.

There are also other beliefs of afterlife like someone living as a memory, as their children, or even reincarnation. One in their immortality could preserve a memory forever, support one's descendants, or hope to meet a reincarnation. It doesn't all have to happen in another dimension.
