Wow :|
I just have no words.
Anyone know a job that makes someone move this much this often? It doesn't even seem like an out of country thing, just other places in japan.
Growing up, my father was an advisor who helped set up schools. Whenever it was finally up and running, he would have to move on to the next one. Thankfully, in my case, he let the family stay in the same home for most of my childhood, though it meant I only saw him once a week at best. You have to respect the work some people put in for their families.

As others said, military is one option. But most high-skill workers are usually moving around a lot, since theres few people with their particular skills or knowledge. Chemical engineers, high level electrical and robotic engineers, nuclear engineers, geologists, hydric engineers, high level CS engineers and programmers, to name some

Military is the normal answer, at least in America. I don't know if the JSDF works the same way.

Or maybe some sort of contractor, possibly with a very specialized skill set, who a variety of companies need, but only for a relatively short amount of time.

It could also be a case of just taking new jobs every so often.
Maybe his dad is a forehead model

Maybe historians working as consultants?

Honestly hurts to see. Like this is the most he has opened up in probably a long time he just came home from a heartfelt talk with someone he has actual close bonds with and then a talk with her aunt only to be hit with the time to more spiel.

They are honestly destroying their son like this. I hope he gets to stay on his own, maybe with the help of Auntie manager?
