I just have no words.
Anyone know a job that makes someone move this much this often? It doesn't even seem like an out of country thing, just other places in japan.

Events stuff. Or it could be a case of being fired/quitting often (either because the job is shit or the companies are starting out and failing.
Could be a business job where the father is meant to audit companies to improve them.

Could be sports like football, which require the players to move in a new city sometimes every year or even 6 months (and the family can follow or not)

Could be a promotion requiring to take a position elsewhere (happen often in big companies)

There's also the companies offering package tours requing people on the ground to find new nice spots for cheap.

There many humanitarian job requiring to travel often to Africa or warzones
Etc...

In this case it's probably the father struggling to find a long term job

Edit: there's also art and design jobs. Most job are done partly on your pc and partly in the company building and there's a lot of turnover.
