Why is it trying to paywall comments on chapters? Sure destroy your social aspect (ignoring "feed") and drive more users off the platform. Don't know where they discuss their updates and future goals but I can certainly see that this commenting feature will be shut down anytime soon.

Pretty sure it’s just supporters get to beta test the new feature and it will be opened to all in the near future. First of all, they have been teasing the feature for a shit ton of time. Second, if only paying members can use the in-site comments, basically nobody is gonna use them, because paying members enjoy interacting with the rest of us, which they cannot do with this new feature.
