The guy is her brother who is really possessive, to the point of committing incest. Possessive as in the creepy-as-fuck kind, as you can probably tell from his eyes. He attempted rape, but she was able to escape to our MC's house. She then proceeds to stay for days and pretty sure gets her brother sent away after speaking with their parents. Might be misremembering things since I read too many things since reading the WN for this manga.

If it isn't obvious already, the original main characters are all creepy in some way, which isn't obvious when playing as the original main character or seeing things in his perspective. But since our MC is an outsider, we get a glimpse into how their actions come off as unconfident and really creepy.

kinda reminds me of how a lot of romance stories, especially older ones, have men and women do some really fucked up shit that only works if you suspend your disbelief and assume they were meant to be together. That sorta "creepy when done to you, romantic when you do it" behavior. Makes me think about some annoying shit in my highschool days. Like, girl, this isn't romantic or cute and I'm not into you. I'm also not asleep, I just don't want to deal with whatever you'll do if I open my eye while you're touching me...
