Question though, now that there will be an offical english release, how will with work with uploads? is that because there is now an offical version, the old uploads will be deleted, and there will not be any uploads of new chapters? asking out of genuine curiosity?
If she's not lying, then Nezumi killed the guy, creating a choice she didn't consider possible. Now she does everything in her power to "protect" that image of Nezumi, whether it's guilt or admiration.

Usually the old chapters are left up, they just aren't updated anymore. There'll be a link in the "Read or Buy" section that says "Offical English" you can go to.
Yeah, @killerstand REALLY appreciate translating the cliffhanger. Getting blueballed for years would be a tragedy 😭.
Far as the chapter goes, Midori getting closer to Ao can't be a good thing. They did have a heartwarming moment in this chapter. Surprised that Ao was gonna pull the trigger too; if Midori didn't stop him, that'd been one hell of a cleanup to fix. But yeah, Midori getting a taste of what a true relationship by someone who values her is like is going to make her want more. We've seen what Nezumi does to enemies that try to take what's hers, but not sure how she'll react if its her own "sister" doing the attempted steal. It'll be a long time before we find out though 😭...
Tho "respect" aside, i'm surprised some one under the yakuza ladder wouldn't have 'discreetly' taken him off life support unless there'd be a 'war' against who'd be the next leader (which i assume happened in the yakuza games too with their hierarchy XD [if not "the old boss is gone/new boss is a pushover/weak in comparison" as a way for any 'rival' gang to muscle in on their territory even if they have a 'weapon' like Nezumi/Midori])
This story has 0% chance of having a good ending and like 90% of why is because the characters are terminaly incapable of solving a problem in a non-self destructive way.
Chapter 39: Heartwarming target practice. It's revealed that Midori has a thing for Asagi (the guy who drove Ao around at first)
Chapter 40: New antagonist Petro revealed. He's living in a homeless encampment under an overpass and seems to have been the victim of Nezumi in the same way that Ao was. The flashback is just Nezumi with a kindergarten backpack and a knife.
Chapter 41: Drunken flirtyness at home. Midori literally commands them to fuck in front of her (in a drunken rage) and the chapter ends with hella sexual tension between Ao and Nezumi
Chapter 42: This entire chapter is devoted to Nezumi learning how to kiss. No, really.
Chapter 43: Petro is revealed to be in Nezumi's apartment in a closet, and this entire chapter is him having a daydream about him being in Ao's place. Apparently he's in love with Nezumi? Maybe she killed someone he hated? Also, Ao and Nezumi are still making out.
Chapter 44: Midori cucks Ao by forgetting her wallet which of course Ao has to go bring to her immediately because reasons. Nezumi goes to bed while Ao's out and Petro says a little goodbye and makes for the door to leave just when Ao opens it. The chapter ends with them face to face.
The fat guy in the hospital wakes up.
Chapter 45:
Nezumi's memory of the soccer ball, which made her unstable, is erased by some sort of brainwashing thing the Yakuza guys do. It's implied that they're working on erasing Ao, but that it'll take more time.
Chapter 46: Nezumi doesn't know how to order ramen.
Chapter 47: More ramen shennanigans.
Fat man shows up at the same ramen shop and sits down right next to Midori, Nezumi and Ao. Midori notices him in the reflection of a napkin holder and starts freaking the fuck out. Fat man seems apologetic and confused about it.
Chapter 48:
Turns out fat man lost some of his memory. Iruka calls Fat Man "dad". Ruri (Buta/Fat Man's daughter(?)) is seen digging her nails into her palm at the end.
Chapter 49: Flashback story about Fat Man. It's strongly implied that Iruka is married to Ruri (Buta's daughter(?)), making them in-laws.
