But then, who slit his neck and put him into a coma? Was Midori also brainwashed? Doesn't seem like it, because she was there and remembers her rape and Nezumi's rape attempt, and we know she got genuinelly surprised when she realized there's something wrong with Nezumi's memory in that night park scene. So, higher chances that all those events did happen.
