my brain hurts because as much as i want it to be him, i dont think its a coincidence that peter took a quick shower and ao is bloody for some reason AND was holding a VERY similar knife to what peter was holding AND his hair doesnt fade like it used to

He's bloody because he just killed someone after he took a shower. You can see it on pg 18 of the last chapter.

i mean at the end of /that/ chapter, you see more of a cut across his whole neck and not the side so yeah but i imagine peters voice wouldn't sound too similar to ao-kuns if not more ao-kun saying something only they would know versus just saying her nickname of 'mi-chan'

Crazy theory what if Ao is actually the kid that left with the other girl in the boat to fix his eyesight back when peter was still a child not burn. And the supossed sister that we though had been killed by Nezumi is actually the other girl. Peter does not seem to recognize Ao but based on that one time they crossed in the door Ao does know him so would explain why he is surprise of seeing him there and why would he call him one of his friends. That or they just where made friends after meeting on the door for their mutual love for Nezumi
