Lol the other dudes giving him un-wanted advice is on point, who asked? :meguupog:

Also from what I remember
This isnt that big of a drama, the mum handles it splendidly and there's only like 2 more 'conflict' points left, 1 of which you can find in chapter 1.
But if you wanna know, basically we get a Satou VS Satou match, I felt it was stupid and th author could've built the relationship with the mother as the MC's surrogate parent instead, it basically ends after that...
Can you please give me a link or name to the light novels please. The releases are to slow for a story this good. I haven’t liked a mc and fmc in a romance manga like this in a while

WN: https://ncode.syosetu.com/n7883ib/
LN, 2 volumes: https://bookwalker.jp/dea6aa4000-e581-49e1-91ec-bd0f2c99e19e/

It kind of reminds me of this in how it doesn't sell its leads short just because they're kids, though I think the linked work is far better in most regards than this one. I guess there was also this that ALSO died prematurely, if you're willing to tolerate fantasy elements in your "teens behaving maturely" romcoms.

Wtf is the story not selling? Dawg these two are some of the best / most depth I seen in a fmc and mc In a romcom for awhile
Unfortunately this series is just not that popular... which is very disheartening.

I remember in the afterwords of the 2nd LN volume, the author said something about that he was so grateful the volume itself even existed, since the physical sales of the 1st volume was struggling. And the 2nd volume barely exists, it is only available digitally.

Thanks for chapter. I'm very curious to see what happens in the next chapter, what Hajime will do, but I have to say that her father is the worst in my opinion. See you

Cih, Chinatsu’s dad seriously sucks. Trash parent :shamihuh: :haa: I’m pretty sure Chinatsu’s dad is planning to use her for his own benefit. Usually in stories like this, it’s either for status, connections, or something related to his job.

thank you for translation
nah if i remember what happened in the light novel correctly hes just an asshole, thinks he the absolute top shit of the top shit when in reality hes just a cheating, lying, abusive wanker who wants to hurt his ex wife as much as he can

axe-kun came. Next chapter last one :meguuusad:

WN did try to end the story in a decent note so I recommend reading it.

Honestly not really missing out on much, the WN also loses quality after this point and I am not sure if the LN is any different as no one ever translated it.

You can look up 'The Number Two Me and The Number One Girl Novelupdates' on google and they should have links but the blog that hosts have a lot of issues so you might need to tinker sometimes when navigating chapters.

You have to read the light novel version somewhere else since you can only read the web novel on novel updates

IMO both of these are really well done, though while that first linked one is really good, I wouldn’t say it’s that much better than this, though I honestly just really liked the somewhat tragic backstory in this one.

Welp, time to read my first romance webnovel ig.
