I really was disappointed when I read this chapter on Kappa ages ago. The spanking really pushed my buttons and the fact that this chapter didn't even talk about it was such a let down. Still annoys me two months later.

Like more of the MC backstory, I'm guessing it's gonna come up later. It's pretty clear Sakura admires Julie but doesn't realize Julie is crazy jealous to a point of abusiveness (it's been well established she's not the sharpest tool in the shed. So no surprise there).

At least MC tried defending his "girlfriend". It's too bad Julie knew exactly what buttons to press to traumatize him.

Yo Julie kind of pisses me off. It's not that she's necessarily wrong about Yuu, but she acts like she knows the whole story and is judging him by it. Sure he's indecisive, but a lot of this stuff has been thrown at him after what is obviously a traumatic point in his life.

Plus the "She's read lots of books and knows a lot." Just makes me think she's a snoop with no actual real world experience feeding off of Tsubaki's admiration and attention.

3/10 character for now.
