The design of the face on page 15, with the snakes wrapped around a damaged face leaving just an eye and a mouth, reminds me of Curly from Mouthwashing.

On a plot-relevant note, the fact that the Inubousaki famed for lacking spiritual sense is able to see whatever was in that recording, must be bad news indeed.
